Pickett Design Associates utilizes Architectural Resource Consultants’ (ARC) services to create as-built drawings on projects where existing drawings need verification or where plans are not available. Located in Irvine, California, and founded by John Russo, AIA in 1997, ARC has been successfully serving the design and architecture community in Los Angeles and around the country for the past seventeen years. Scanning above the ceiling will help the team design for new fixture locations, eliminating concern for future “clashes” on the day of installation. This is advance team planning! AIA/LA Healthcare Committee Tours LA County High Desert Regional Health Center
Christine and Linda toured the LA County High Desert Regional Health Center with the AIA/LA Healthcare Committee on Saturday May 17th. Pickett Design Associates participated as the Interior Design Consultant to the Design Build Team. This very special (141,000 sq ft.) project is located in Lancaster, CA. and opens in July 2014.
Design Meets LA 2011
In September, AIA Interiors Committee hosted their annual Design Meets LA with a Cuban chic theme, A Night in Havana at The Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica, California. Christine and Marta were among the partygoers gathered to celebrate the spirit of design of Los Angeles. Part of the gala consisted of a silent auction with top designers of the city donating art pieces. The auction proceeds help fund scholarships awarded every to to designers from local schools by the AIA Los Angeles Interior Architecture Committee. Christine bid and won the above oil painting of the Cuban flag by Alex Zarifian. The evening was filled with artwork, cocktails and good cheer. Caliente!
