UCI Health worked with Pickett Designs, HED, SLAM, and Hathaway Dinwiddie to achieve their mission of becoming ”a global model for integrative health.” Pickett Design’s team provided design services for the clinical areas on two floors of a new four-story building on the university campus in Irvine. The scope includes the following spaces: elevator lobby space within each clinic, walk-in reception / check-in, waiting areas, work rooms, exam / treatment rooms, procedure room, IV room, specialty suites ICU and Homecare, nurse stations, MA stations, offices, team conference rooms, call center, consult areas, and related admin, large second floor reception/waiting and multipurpose room, yoga room, teaching kitchen, Cardiac Rehab, and support related spaces within the two clinics.

Located at 856 Medical Sciences, Irvine, CA 92697, UCI Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute is now open. On behalf of Susan Samueli’s mission, this institute is committed to providing holistic health to patients and the community. Their services include yoga, mindfulness, tai chi, and nutrition-based cooking classes, along with other educational lectures and events.
