Nestled in a wooded Santa Monica canyon, this Spanish style residence has been a labor of love for Pickett Design over several years. The main house was originally remodeled and updated, including bathrooms, kitchen, architectural features and furniture. The existing garage was converted to a child’s playroom complete with motorized velvet drapes at a stage and creative craft area. The child’s playroom can also be closed off for a private guest area with sleeping area and private bath. The rear of the property was more recently developed to add a lap pool, extensive landscaping, exterior living and dining rooms and a stone-clad guesthouse. Currently, the main house is again under construction to extend the second story to accommodate the Owner’s growing family.
