Motion Picture Television fund - Harry’s Haven Memory Care

Located on the Motion Picture Television Fund (MPTF) campus on the second floor of the Skilled Nursing Building, Harry’s Haven Memory Care is a dedicated care facility for entertainment industry members with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related conditions. We were brought on to update and renovate the existing facility, and we designed the space in adherence with the household model of care in order to provide patients with the freedom to roam and exercise their brains with different activity stations, such as a grocery corner and a typewriting desk. Patient rooms are sorted into five different color coded neighborhoods that correspond with these activity stations. This layout engages patients and provides them with mentally stimulating activities that can best support their well-being.
